Hi, I’m Diana.
I work across photography and film, creating visual narratives shaped by atmosphere, place, and human presence.
My practice is grounded in observation and long periods spent working on location. I am interested in images that sit between stillness and movement, intimacy and distance, often exploring solitude, transition, and environment.
Alongside commissioned work, I maintain an ongoing personal practice that includes analogue experimentation with medium format, 35mm, and Polaroid. Working across both film and digital photography influences how I approach people and landscapes, allowing time, texture, and imperfections to shape the final image.
My background includes editorial and commercial commissions, as well as self-initiated projects developed through travel and extended time in the field. Selected portrait work has been published internationally.
More recently, I have begun developing a series of small group photography workshops and expeditions in collaboration with other photographers, bringing together field experience, location-based work, and a more considered approach to image-making.
I undertake a limited number of commissioned projects each year, prioritising strong visual and conceptual alignment.
My Approach
My approach is grounded in observation and restraint. I work slowly and attentively, allowing atmosphere, narrative, and material process to shape the image. Each commissioned project is approached as a distinct body of work, guided by context and alignment rather than repetition.
