A small-group photography expedition across the remote landscapes of North and East Iceland

This workshop is designed for photographers looking to explore and capture the raw, less-travelled regions of Iceland’s North and East, where vast open terrain, volcanic formations and isolated mountain ranges define the landscape.

Throughout the expedition, you’ll photograph expansive highland scenery, glacial rivers, textured volcanic ground and dramatic mountain environments, with a flexible approach shaped by light, weather, and conditions. The itinerary allows time to respond to opportunities as they unfold and to revisit locations when conditions align.

The group is limited to six participants to ensure a focused and personalised experience, with guidance available throughout the journey.

What to expect

  • Access to remote Highland locations

  • Daily shoots during optimal light conditions

  • Guidance on composition, shooting techniques and visual storytelling

  • A small, focused group environment

This is not a typical workshop. It’s a field-based experience built around being in the right place at the right time, with space to develop your own work.

Who this is for

  • Photographers with a basic understanding of their camera

  • Those looking to improve their landscape work

  • Anyone wanting a more intentional, small-group experience
